Peak Performance Sports
and Physical Therapy has 2 conveniently located clinics in
Jacksonville, NC. Our 1st clinic is just off Gum Branch Road
a block away from the Jacksonville High School. 2nd is on
Richlands Hwy between Yopp and Haywood roads (near the Tractor
Supply Company). Open since November, 2004, our Jacksonville
clinic has quickly established a reputation for competence,
compassion and results among many of the leading physicians
in the Jacksonville area. We are staffed by experienced therapists
and technicians skilled in using top industry rehabilitation
equipment and in the application of both standard therapy
treatment and advanced sports injury recovery techniques.
Andy Klatt is the Clinic Director and Lead Physical Therapist.
Mr. Klatt brings an excellent reputation for quality care
and expertise in general orthopedic and musculoskeletal care,
sports medicine and post surgical rehabilitation.

our newest clinic located to serve the growing demands in
Jacksonville and
Richlands. Darrin Madole is the Clinic Director at the Jacksonville
South clinic, Darrin is an experienced physical therapist
with 14 years of physical therapy experience across a broad
range of skills and techniques.
The successful treatment of sports
injuries will always be a keystone of Peak Performance
Sports & Physical Therapy.
Our current physical therapists are also Certified Athletic
Trainers and are well versed in the latest sports injury
treatments. In addition, our staff is dedicated to training
athletes of all ages and disciplines in injury prevention
techniques. By working closely with your physician, our staff
will help you return back to your favorite sport in top condition.

| Andy
Klatt, MPT Clinic Director
After graduating from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science,
Andy earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. His career has been focused in the outpatient orthopedic
setting with continuing education in manual therapy, spinal disorders, Kinesio
Taping, Strain-Counterstrain, Total Motion Release, and wound care. His research
topic while at UNC was "The Effects of Training on Reliability of Pelvic
Landmark Palpation Using a Pelvic Model". When not dedicating himself to
the wellbeing of patients, Andy enjoys salt water fishing, travel, sports, and
boating with his wife and two children.

Lanelle
Emerson, MS, ATC, PES
Jacksonville Clinic Operations Manager
Lanelle received her Bachelor’s degree in
Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University and her
Master’s degree in Sports Health Care from Arizona
School of Health Sciences. She has worked in High School
and Collegiate settings, and has worked with a wide spectrum
of athletes in injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance
enhancement. Lanelle has worked extensively with Marines
in return to readiness, specifically for the PFT and CFT.
She has also completed the certification courses for the
TRX suspension training system. Lanelle is an avid Denver
Broncos fan and enjoys reading and traveling, but mostly
she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.

Jenna
Wickham, DPT
Jenna obtained her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Penn State
University (University Park, PA) in 2005 and her Doctoral degree in Physical
Therapy from Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) in 2009. She began her
Physical Therapy career at Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania in her
hometown of Harrisburg, PA before relocating to Jacksonville, NC. Jenna
joined the Peak Performance team in April 2010 and is enjoying life in
Coastal Carolina with her fiancé and two bulldogs. Jenna’s
clinical experiences include two outpatient orthopedic rotations, acute
care, and inpatient rehabilitation. Jenna enjoys treating general orthopedic
injuries and has attended clinical education courses on neural mobilization,
manual treatment of the lumbar spine, and cervical manipulation. Her future
goal is to become a certified orthopedic specialist. Jenna is an avid Penn
State football fan and Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fanatic. Jenna
also spends her time at the beach, working out, or spending time with family
and friends.

Tim
Biven, PTA
Timothy earned his Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist
Assistant from Arapahoe Community College in 2009. He joined the staff
at Peak Performance in February 2008 as a PT Technician. Prior to becoming
employed at Peak, he faithfully served in his country for 7.5 years in
the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. He received his formal training
in the practice of physical therapy while stationed at Naval Hospital Camp
Lejeune. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, making
people smile, and traveling.

Jeremiah
Biehl, DPT
Jeremiah graduated in 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the
University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Prior to attending graduate school, Jeremiah earned a Bachelor of Science
from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Jeremiah has a strong
background in exercise and manual therapy, and is interested in the biomechanics
of the lower extremity and cervical spine. Besides being driven by the
desire to promote the profession of physical therapy, Jeremiah also has
outside interests, including traveling, working with his hands, and spending
time on the ocean.

Michelle
Miller, DPT
Michelle earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical College
of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. Prior to earning
her DPT she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Exercise, Sport and
Health Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Radford University
in 2008. Prior to relocating to Hubert, North Carolina, Michelle had clinical
experience working in outpatient clinics including Fort Lee’s Kenner
Army Clinic in Petersburg, VA, a hospital based outpatient clinic in Fredericksburg,
VA and a private practice clinic in Chester, VA. Currently, she plans on
pursuing continuing education courses to expand her knowledge within manual
therapy and sport rehab. Michelle enjoys training for marathons, ½ marathons,
playing with her puppy, Bear, travelling, and spending time with her husband
and family.

Sarah
Peck, DPT
Sarah is a licensed Physical Therapist in both North Carolina and Minnesota.
She received both her undergraduate degree in Health Science and her Doctorate
of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University. Sarah joined the
Peak Performance staff November 2011. Prior to that she was a commissioned
Naval Officer for 3 years in Jacksonville, Florida. Her time spent in the
Navy allowed for an invaluable experience. Providing growth as a leader
and the opportunity to work with our countries warriors. She was able to
work with all branches of the DoD to help return them to their highest
level of function. While in the active duty, Sarah was able to take an
advance manual course at Baylor University. She has a strong background
in Maitland, Mulligan and McKenzie methodology. Sarah’s outside interests
include spending time with her husband and daughter, going to the beach,
traveling, fitness, cooking and nutrition. As well as continuing to serve
in the Navy Reserve.

Ashtin
Swaim, DPT
Ashtin graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of
Arts in 2008 and from the University of Michigan with her Doctoral degree
in Physical Therapy in August 2011. Ashtin joined the Peak Performance
team in November 2011. Ashtin’s clinical experiences include one
outpatient rotation, one acute care rotation and one vestibular outpatient
rotation. Ashtin’s future goals are to become a certified vestibular
specialist and to become an APTA Credential Clinical Instructor. When not
treating patients, Ashtin enjoys spending time with her husband and two
dogs.
